Bollywood and South Indian films lead lady Genelia D’Souza says she is not marrying anyone right now.
The lead lady of Bollywood and South Indian films Genelia D’Souza has dismissed the reports that she is soon planning to tie the knot with the Bollywood star Ritesh Deshmukh. Upset with reports that she is getting married, Genelia said that right now all her focus is on the acting career and is not thinking of marriage in any way.
The Bollywood actress said, "To set the record straight, I am not planning to get married to anyone. I have always maintained that I would not like to discuss my personal life in public and with the media. But this time since it was something that would affect my family, I decided to take a stand and clarify."
Pointing that the reports of her link-up with Ritesh were allegedly cooked up by the media, Genelia said, "It’s rather funny that we have to read about what is happening in our lives in the press before we even know it ourselves. I wonder how news like that can be put out without proper verification from the people whose lives it is going to affect."
So, marriage is just not on the mind of Genelia right now and it is therefore quite natural that she is upset with the reports of her settling down with Ritesh.. Contrary to marriage plans, what is important for her is that her upcoming film with Shahid Kapoor, Chance Pe Dance should do well at the Box office. Genelia has had a very successful career down south and she says that rather than marriage, what she hopes as of now is that with the success of Chance Pe Dance, she has a great beginning to 2010 in Bollywood.
